Here’s a whole basket full of pictures describing our spring break:
Sophie’s preschool Easter egg hunt:
Chalk Festival downtown:
Ikea trip for bar items, mugs, shot glasses and such for our new/vintage tiki bar (I’ll post pics of it soon). Thanks Ted!! Whenever we eat at Ikea I think of the very first time Doug and I visited there while honeymooning . It was a cold snowy day in Pittsburg and we ordered the swedish meatball and mashed potato meal. We get it every time we visit.
Beautiful full moon:
Busch Gardens day as a family:
Vacation to Mia and Papa’s. The girls spent two days at Mia and Papa’s baking cookies, jumping on the trampoline and hanging out with cousins.
Trivia night with friends at Nolan’s Pub, while the girls are away:
Bike rides and cupcakes:
Easter cards from Nona and Grandpa Webber:
Lunch w Daddy and Easter dress shopping:
Guitar lessons online:
Paddle boarding (that’s a separate post).
Egg hunts and fun with cousins:
It has finally warmed up. Most of spring break felt more like winter than spring. The temp.’s dropped to the low 40’s with a high’s in the 50’s. That’s unusual for Florida spring. I loved the time I got to be with the girls and I’m really looking forward to summer and more days like the past week. I’m glad to be back in summer dresses too. The winter clothing, jackets and boots are being packed away sometime this week!
Happy Easter and happy spring!
