Two weekends ago began with Friday night dress rehearsal for Nutcracker. Sara was a soldier in the show this year, with the special role of the “one” soldier who gets killed. She was very happy about that role. She’s a really great little performer.
Saturday we attended the annual Harbor parade downtown. We’ve only missed the parade one time since Sara’s birth and that’s because we were still in the hospital delivering Sophie.
The girls love seeing their friends perform in the parade, watching clowns drive unicycles, catching candy and junk and the grand finale, when Santa waves and yells their names. The fire fighter/Santa knows my girls and I think they know who he is now too.
Saturday night and Sunday afternoon Sara performed in the Nutcracker. She did a great job. She recived flowers from mom, dad and Soph and a Nutcracker from Mia and Pappa.
A week ago Monday was the annual Guruz Media Christmas party. We enjoyed wonderful food at Cafe Carmel, time with great people and opening gifts from our secret Santa. Congrats Guruz on another great year!!
Friday night we celebrated our dear friends Greg and Sue Olsen’s 39th wedding anniversary and the renewing of their vows at the Vinoy in St.Pete. The ceremony was wonderful and the vows written beautifully by both of them. It was a great time with friends and most importantly a night to celebrate a very amazing couple. Congratulations Sue and Greg on 39 years!! We love both of you so much!
This weekend was/is all about wrapping gifts, watching Christmas movies, rest, making meatballs, baking cookies (later today) and sitting by a fire tonight to read Christmas stories with the girls and sip hot chocolate.
Merry Christmas friends and family!!! Lots of love from the Webber’s to you and yours.
