Sara started second grade today. She met with her friend Dayna by the big oak tree in front of the school this morning so they could walk into class together. There’s security in familiarity. After she found her spot in the class room, we gave our hugs and kisses and said our goodbyes, remembering the feeling (all too well) of the first day jitters. She’s going to do great, I have no doubt!
Sophia and I met with Sara for lunch this afternoon so we could hear a little about the first day of school and to give something for Sara to look forward to. Here’s a special report, recorded for Daddy, on how the first day is going so far.
My class starts tomorrow, here’s what I’l be studying….
After I complete this class, along with the lab that goes with it, I’ll be ready to apply for the nursing program!!! I can’t wait, but I’m sure if you are a nurse reading this, you might say….”you can wait”. I hear the program is intense, but I’m focusing on my final goal. I can’t wait to be a trauma nurse.
Happy first day back to school everyone!!
