Got Strawberries? Let me guess, you’ve already made strawberry shortcake, you throw them on your cereal every morning, and you eat them as a side dish for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Are you running out of ideas? Here’s what I did with the TON of strawberries I had in our fridge.
1) Strawberry Jam
Mine actually turned out to be a sauce rather than jam. So, if you end up with sauce like I did, you can still use it over waffles, pancakes, or shortcake.
But, if you really want jam try this one. Jam. I didn’t use this recipe and I wish I would have. Oh well. Let me know what you think if you try it. The recipe I used did not include the most important ingredient pectin, so that is why I got strawberry sauce instead.
2) Fruit dip and/or Strawberry fruit cups
So easy. So Yummy!
16 oz. Marshmallow Fluff
16 oz. Cream Cheese
Mix both ingredients and serve with Strawberries or fruit of your choice.
Strawberry Fruit Cups
Phyllo cups (found in frozen section at grocery store)
Fruit dip (see recipe above)
Add a teaspoon full of fruit dip to each phyllo cup and place a sliced strawberry on top.
3) Balsamic Strawberries with Ricotta Cream
Here is the recipe or click here to view and print. SO YUMMY!
Enjoy your strawberries!
